I was one of the Nephite children, and I remember how much I loved the angels who came and danced with us. Marlene Arnold was "our" angel. Patriarch Cosper and his wife were our "grandparents." Sister Arnold and the Cospers made us feel so special -- I have never forgotten that.

I also loved singing for the audience in the red church before they went up to the site, and I remember Sister Hall making us bologna sandwiches out on the lawn of the church to get us through the performances. :)

Another funny story --
The brother who played Jesus came by our house a few weeks later to talk to my dad, and my little sister Amy, who had also been in the production and was about 8, answered the door. When she saw who it was her jaw dropped in amazement, then she ran away shouting "Jesus is at our front door! Jesus is at our front door!"
